Dr Kathleen Broderick is a natural bridge builder and collaborative leader who uses her experience and insights to make positive change happen.
She understands how to facilitate inclusive collaborative planning as an important pathway towards long term economic, social, cultural and environmental health.
Drawing on systems and lateral thinking, her ‘superpower’ is creatively matching any group’s needs to a bespoke, effective, solutions-based process.
With over 30 years professional experience in natural resource management Kathleen is adept at combining her knowledge of how people work best, with informed research and wider contexts, to help resolve the complex challenges we face today.
With many successful governance, policy and stakeholder engagement projects completed, her body of work is testament to her commitment and passion for real outcomes which make a difference.
Kathleen’s focus is on engaging with people who are ready to lead positive change for their future, to understand the uniqueness of any particular project and positively work in collaboration with stakeholders including governments, industry and communities.
Kathleen has written several key papers examining governance of natural resources and community participation in resource management and regularly contributes to governance and program reviews and public policy development. Kathleen is Affiliated with the Fenner School of Environment and Society, Australian National University.
